Workshop on Artificial Scientific Discovery 2021
The explicit purpose of this workshop is to emphasize those cases where the machine generates new insights on its own. The goal of this workshop is to inspire discussions on possible avenues for future developments. The workshop will take place online, from June 29 – July 1, each day from 17:00 to about 21:00 (Israel time). Registration is until June 25, 2021. More info can be found here.

How can AI help improve equity and access to opportunity for historically disadvantaged and underserved communities?
ACM launches its inaugural conference on Equity and Access in Algorithms, Mechanisms, and Optimization (EAAMO ’21). EAAMO ’21 aims to highlight work where techniques from algorithms, optimization, and mechanism design, along with insights from the social sciences and humanistic studies, can help improve equity and access to opportunity for historically disadvantaged and underserved communities. The deadline for participation is June 14th, 2021. The event will take place virtually October 5-9, 2021. More info can be found here.

Online Seminar: Next-generation recurrent network models for cognitive neuroscience
MIT's center for Brains, Minds and Machines (CBMM) is hosting a special seminar on Next-generation recurrent network models for cognitive neuroscience. The speaker, Asst. Prof. Guangyu Robert Yang of MIT's Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences (BCS), will discuss the challenges and opportunities in Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) -  a widely accepted tool for neuroscientists.
